Being part of the Wedding team at this ancient Monastery (Historical-Artistic Monument) has been a true luxury and a very enriching experience; it has undoubtedly strengthened me as an entrepreneur and wedding planner.
In a unique setting, in the heart of the Picos de Europa mountains, I have been fortunate enough to coordinate weddings in the Basilica of Covadonga, intimate and welcoming ceremonies in the church of San Pedro de Villanueva, or charming civil ceremonies in the old cloister of San Miguel.
Providing Wedding advice as an added value to wedding services for Paradores Nacionales has required a very specific level of work, which marked an important change and advance in the collaborative format.
The monastery of San Pedro de Villanueva is located in the parish of Villanueva in the Asturian council of Cangas de Onís .
This monastery of the Benedictine order is considered one of the most important examples of the so-called Romanesque style in Asturias.
